Location

Cornwood is a village on the Southern tip of the Dartmoor National Park. It had a last reported population of just under 1,000 residents and the village supports the subject property, primary school, shop and village hall. It is located approximately four miles from Ivybridge and 3.5 miles from the A38 expressway at Lee Mill. 

The village is approximately 37 miles (60 km) to the south-west of Exeter and 14 miles (21.4 km) to the east of Plymouth. Ivybridge is on the mainline from Penzance to the North and London.

The Cornwood Inn occupies a highly visible position in the village centre close to the church and village store.
