Description

Could you run this pub in the Cotswolds?

The Bear Inn is a beautiful pub with letting rooms located at the heart of Bisley in Stroud. Dating back to 1766 this Grade II listed building is the image of a British country pub. It’s original stone exterior compliments its cosy interior with low ceilings, exposed wooden beams and open fires. The pub is well loved for its traditional pub food and quality range of cask marque accredited real ales.

The Bear Inn consists of a main bar area that has a warm, quaint feel with a friendly atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a pint with friend and also has seating to allow guests to dine in a relaxed environment. The pub also boasts a dedicated restaurant that is ideally positioned next to the well-equipped catering kitchen. Upstairs is the living accommodation and soon will also benefit from three beautiful, newly developed, letting rooms available for guests to enjoy an overnight stay. The pub also benefits from a stunning beer garden and a carpark across the road with up to 12 spaces.

Refurbishment

We have exciting refurbishment plans to create two brand new en-suite letting rooms to accompany the existing room which will allow the pub to capture even more guests who come to explore the Cotswolds.
