The Dunblane Hotel is a traditional Scottish Inn in the centre of Dunblane, an affluent town three miles north of Stirling with a 12,000 population. The pub provides an excellent opportunity for the right Management Partner, as from Spring 2022, we will be investing £500,000 in the business.

We will be delivering the following as part of this significant investment:

  • There will be a single and enlarged trading area, which will replace the current two-room configuration, with enlarged toilets and kitchen facilities.

  • Significantly enhanced domestic accommodation.

  • A reconfigured outside space with heating and pizza ovens.

Once we have made these significant enhancements, the Dunblane has the potential to be the best pub in the town.

We’re looking for a Management Partner or Partners who have experience running a high-volume food and drink business. Ideally, you will understand the local marketplace and have the warm, infectious, and outgoing personality to ingratiate guests old and new.

The ideal candidate(s) should clearly understand what the local community looks for from their local pub. You will always have one ear to the ground, understanding what matters to your locals. You’ll know what makes a good event and ensure guests have a great time with high-quality service, food and drink provided.

In addition to the above skill set, you’ll harness the power of social media to increase sales and footfall. The Dunblane needs a friendly listener with versatile communication skills. Your attention to detail and ability to treat all customers equally will ensure that they are happy to recommend you and your pub.

We need organised Management Partners who always meet statutory requirements are second nature. You’ll also have a proven track record in delivering first-class service, hosting and entertainment.

The Pub and Location

The Dunblane is a public house conveniently located for train and bus services on Stirling Road, Dunblane. Here you’ll thrive during evenings and weekends and develop the daytime trade.

You’ll be all about setting the right atmosphere for the occasion: a meet with friends, the big match, quiz night, a bite to eat or a live music event. The pub currently consists of three trading areas plus two-bed domestic accommodation. The ideal operator will capitalise on Dunblane’s commuter location for Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Stirling.

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
