Description

Take the reins of a fantastic pub just a ten-minute walk from Southfields tube station and within walking distance of Wimbledon village. We have an investment planned to bring the pub in-line with the Fireside concept: high-quality food and drink in picturesque surroundings.


We’re looking for a Management Partner with a big personality to ensure that this is a relaxed and comfortable pub that locals are proud to frequent and a destination venue for people from further afield. You’ll serve delicious food and drink in a modern pub to which people return. The Gardener’s will serve as an alternative to other pubs with the bonus of a beautifully presented interior, terrace, and courtyard garden. You’ll ensure this is the place to go with friends or family when you want to show off your local.


The pub and local area


The pub benefits from a street side terrace which seats 40 covers. We’re also investing in the venue to increase kerb appeal, with a secret garden courtyard with seating for 24 covers. The main bar area seats 48 covers, and there is a separate dining room seating a further 30 covers. You’ll also capitalise on the fully equipped core kitchen with a garden kitchen housing a pizza oven.


The manager’s accommodation comprises two bedrooms, a private kitchen, and a large lounge, sitting on the first floor.


The right operator will dramatically improve food and drink offers. You’ll ensure that your Rhythm of the Week draws friends and family to book special occasions. Guests will enjoy long summers in the courtyard garden or terrace, a sensational Sunday roast, and build the wet-side of the business to increase local walk-to guests. We’re looking for a Management Partner well-versed in recruiting a fantastic team.

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
