The Railway Inn is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a piece of Cornish magic in the stunning surroundings that come with being in this delightful village.


 You’ll be taking the helm of an archetypal and successful community pub, which means we are looking for an outgoing, engaging, and upstanding pillar of the community to become the next legendary landlord. Being currently local would be an advantage, whilst being fastidious about serving a perfect pint is mandatory. The pub needs a motivator, leader and a natural at spotting talent to bolster your team. You’ll need this in particular during busy summer trading.


The Railway Inn needs a great listener and speaker. Someone who relishes getting involved. You’ll derive a great sense of achievement in planning and organising pub events regularly, as an integral part of the community. Sporting prowess is not essential, but you should be at least an avid armchair fan and your pub team’s number one supporter.


The Pub


The Railway Inn has a prominent roadside location in the residential end of the village in St Agnes.


St Agnes sits on the north Cornish coast, oozing outstanding natural beauty in a World Heritage Site. Unsurprisingly, the road past the pub becomes increasingly busy during the summer months, and visitors will often stop for a bite to eat or a drink. By Cornish standards, this is a large village with plenty of amenities. You’ll capitalise on a pub that trades well throughout the year.


Internally, you will find plenty of character befitting an old property. Externally, there is a large car park and two terraced areas, which capture the sun throughout the day and host popular local events throughout the season!

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
