The Railway Tavern needs a sports enthusiast at the helm. An operator to take full advantage of the new audiovisual, high spec solution to show sports matches throughout the week. You’ll drive this great pub forwards in terms of both reputation and solid profit growth.


You’ll revel in the opportunity to be the figurehead of this community. Building the food reputation by delivering consistently great pub classics will be a massive opportunity to drive sales and profit.


The ideal Management Partner will thrive bringing classic calendar events to life: Halloween, Easter, Christmas, and Bank Holiday Weekends. You’ll capture the hearts of a community by building trust and confidence over time. These captivating events will also ensure your customers return week after week.


The Railway Tavern needs a community operator with a big personality. You’ll love to chat and get to know your regular customers during the week. Your energetic spirit will also embrace the younger customers who come in during evenings and weekends.


You’ll be an experienced business owner or General Manager with a proven track record of growing food and drink sales in their current business. Leading from the front, you’ll know how to bring your pub’s events to life using social media. You’ll possess the high standards and organisational skills necessary to lead the Railway Tavern to success.


The pub and location


We’re fully refurbishing the Railway Tavern before reopening in April 2022, transforming it back to its former glory attracting regulars from Mill Hill and surrounding areas.


Guests enjoy the decking area at the back laid out with benches and parasols, great for catching mid-afternoon sunshine. You’ll find quieter seating areas inside, perfect for drinking and dining. TVs are peppered around the pub, ideal for showing major matches and live sports events. Walking through the patio doors, you’ll discover the large decking area with a small, covered area for smokers. The picturesque garden is a suntrap for guests in the summer months.


The private accommodation will enable you to immerse yourself in the local community. There are two bedrooms on the second floor and three bedrooms on the first floor with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and separate toilet.

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
